 QUALITIES OF A CAPABLE HUSBAND

When it comes to marital issues, people usually turn to the woman and present the long list of qualities
a capable wife should possess as found in the Bible without paying equal attention to that of the man too, because it takes two to tangle.  We shall be looking at the qualities a Capable Man should possess in piece meal. The first quality we will be considering is

1. INDUSTROUSNESS: A Capable husband should be very industrious. He tries to be CREATIVE,AND ENGAGE IN AS MANY TASKS AS POSSIBLE SO THAT HE WILL BE ABLE TO MEET THE NEEDS OF HIS FAMILY AT ALL TIMES. He is willing to pick up MINOR JOBS just to be able to raise funds for his family. He realizes that a man that cannot provide for his family, both SPIRITUALLY, AND PHYSICALLY, IS WORST THAN A PERSON WITHOUT FAITH.

 2. LEADERSHIP QUALITY: He has leadership quality, because he does not depend solely on others to make DECISIONS, PLANS, OR PILOT THE AFFAIRS OF HIS FAMILY. He knows when to seek advices and not, and when to act on the advices and not.

 3. OPTIMISTIC: He is always optimistic regardless of how bad the situation they are going through is, because he has in mind the words of the HOLY BIBLE that says, A MAN THAT SHOWS HIMSELF DISCOURAGED IN TIMES OF PROBLEMS, HIS POWER WILL BE SCANTY. If him as the head of the family is discouraged and starts CRYING LIKE A BABY, WHAT WILL HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN DO? WHO WILL COMFORT WHO?

4. MODERATE IN HABIT: A Capable man is moderate in habit. He knows that VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE. He endeavors to engage in WHOLE SOME ACTIVITIES MODERATELY REALISING THAT, TOO MUCH OF EVERYTHING IS BAD, AND THAT THERE IS A TIME FOR EVERY AFFAIR UNDER THE HEAVENS.

 5. SOUNDNESS OF MIND: A capable husband has sound mind that makes him use SOUND JUDGE TO MAKE DECISIONS. He also endeavors to look at ALL THE AVAILABLE FACTS, PRO'S AND CON'S, BEFORE HE MAKES A DECISION, SAY A WORD, OR TAKE AN ACTION. He always HEARS BOTH SIDES OF A STORY, AND NOT JUDGE ON HEARSAY. Do you always HEAR BOTH SIDES OF AN ISSUE, BEFORE YOU SAY THAT WORD, CARRY OUT THAT ACTION, OR MAKE THAT DECISION?

If you do, great for you already have a quality of a capable husband, but if you don’t, put in efforts to acquire them because you are working toward the success of your present or future family.
